Welcome to my blog – “Ditto’s Blog”!!
I am excited to be able to communicate with the world on my very own blog site: dittosblog.com 🙂 But, before I speak about this new venture, let me first tell you more about who I am.
My name is Dorothea, which means “a gift from God”, but I am affectionately known as “Ditto”, a nickname I acquired when I was a teenager. I grew up in Canada! But, in 1999, I moved to Fort Worth, Texas – my new home!!!
I love life and I love people! I am passionate about the people of the world being FREE spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically! It is only in this place of balance that all life can come into harmony with the earth – for it seems that the imbalance of mankind is a threat to the existence of the earth and all life.
I am a Singer/Songwriter! I have chosen to GIVE my music to the world! “Freely you have received, freely give!” is my inspiration.
The music has been gifts to me from my Maker, the GIVER of all gifts! My dream has been to freely give this MUSIC to a hurting world that desperately needs hope!
So far I have recorded three CDs in 2004. All three CDs can be listened to through my You Tube Channel. I created all the videos independently, and even for some painted pictures! 😉 People in 187 COUNTRIES of the WORLD have listened to the videos I have posted!

I do not sell my music, as these are the greatest gifts given to me by the Giver of all gifts, the Creator, and they are precious to me!!! Therefore, I have chosen to FREELY GIVE THE MUSIC to the world and I will never sing or play for money, or allow others to make money from this very special music. They are MY GIFTS to you! I am that channel for the music to flow from the GIVER to each of you! 🙂
I have no interest in “human” awards or accolades of any kind! I sing from my heart & soul to GOD for His Glory only! The only reward I care to hear, is when My Heavenly Father says to me: “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
Writing is another GIFT given to me by the GIVER of the GIFTS!!! It is really what got me through college! I would do my research and have lots of information gathered from various sources!! Before I could begin writing, I needed a title and the “ideas” about how to frame the information. I would then sit down and write! Most times the words would just flow. I got some A+ grades on papers I wrote overnight! I learned that some of my best writing comes from a deadline, because I seem to thrive under pressure. But, that’s just me!!!
(P.S. I do not recommend this kind of procrastination for college students!!! lol 😉 )
I have started this BLOG, because I write about many issues on my public Facebook page. There are so many pertinent issues facing our world, but it must be balanced with spiritual inspiration, truth and hope!
Since Facebook has become “revenue” driven after becoming a publicly traded company, I have noticed that their algorithms intentionally omit my Facebook posts from news feeds – even from those who have “liked” my page!!! I have found this to be frustrating! It is like my information is being CENSORED because I refuse to pay Facebook for every CLICK on a post! When you have so much to say, being CENSORED because you refuse to pay their huge fees is frustrating for myself and my AWESOME QUALITY READERS!!!
MY QUALITY READERS are truly my INSPIRATION for starting this BLOG and people just like them that will soon be reading my posts regularly!!!!
So, “Ditto’s Blog” is officially christened!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
The experts say that “GOOD CONTENT IS EVERYTHING”!!! All the bells and whistles of a flashy site doesn’t generate real quality readers!!! Those who already read my posts on Facebook know that I am fearless in dealing with any issue and speak TRUTH as I see it!!! Sometimes my language is strong and to the point, but there is no need for profanity in stressing a point! TRUTH always shines like a SPOTLIGHT on evil and lies!
These are some of my guiding principles for this Blog:
Inspiration:
I desire to inspire you in your own spiritual journey with your Creator and your personal quest in fulfilling your own destiny upon the earth, even as I am seeking to always fulfill my own.
Intelligence:
I strive to deal with subject manner in an intelligent manner, striving to learn or understand new information, data, and current events through research and administering sound judgment in my conclusions.
Insight:
I am committed to share the insight I may be given by my Creator.
Independence:
I am independent of political, religious, corporate, or any other organized or unorganized group. I represent only my own thoughts and opinions.
Indignation:
I will always display strong displeasure at anything considered unjust, offensive, insulting, illegal, genocidal, environmentally destructive, abusive of human rights, and will display righteous anger through my pointed words.
Inquisitive:
I am naturally inclined to ask questions and conduct an examination of the facts before writing my thoughts or opinions.
Investigation:
I know that many times my investigation will reveal unpopular information, as TRUTH at times is a “bitter pill to swallow”. However, I would rather live my life according to TRUTH, rather than lies! Most people that read this blog will agree!
Incentive:
I desire my words and actions to be an incentive for others to also determine to always speak truth, live by truth and be moved to action in making our world a better place for our grandchildren today and for the next seven generations and beyond!
The most powerful song that has been given to me is entitled, “God is For Me”! But God is also for you, my friend – no matter what you are going through! Never forget who you are and that there is a special role for you on this earth – even as there is for me! Take a listen!
May God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, bless you, dear friends! I pray today that God will touch you & your loved ones with HIS LOVE, whether it be through my music or my words! We are stronger together under the love of the Creator!
